Overview
Biotin-GHK products are cosmetic-ingredient peptides that conjugate biotin (vitamin B7) to the tripeptide GHK (glycyl-histidyl-lysine); ingredients of this kind appear in hair- and nail-care formulations, sometimes under INCI-style names such as biotinoyl tripeptide-1. Peer-reviewed data specific to these biotin-conjugated forms are very limited.
They should not be confused with the more extensively studied GHK-Cu (copper peptide) research compound, and cosmetic status does not imply evidence for the effects claimed in marketing.
